You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.
Hiring a business photographer or videographer is a big decision. We get it! That’s why we’ve rounded up a list of our most frequently asked questions to help guide you through the selection process. If you have other questions (or if you want to further discuss something highlighted below), please reach out using the contact form or details above.
How much will your services cost?
This is a big one, but it’s a little ambiguous. Photography and videography are like your business — unique. Recognizing that each of the businesses we work with has specific needs, we don’t have a standard pricing model. Instead, we start by asking questions to learn about your business, your story, and products and services you want to showcase.
Our goal is to partner with you. We work to understand both long and short-range goals to ensure that the work we do today will be beneficial not only today, but down the road as well. If we can pair your current project with those you plan on executing down the road, it saves you time and increases your return on investment. We’re always looking for ways to help your company succeed.
What do we get for our investment?
You get three things:
- A partner: First and foremost, you get a media and marketing partner. The moment you contact us about your project, our relationship begins. We work to get to know you and your business, your market, mission, goals and needs. We learn what you already have to work with, your preferred style and strategy.
- A media library: The media library is one of the most exciting aspects of working together, as everything we do is done with the goal of having a long shelf life. A media library is a compilation of digital film clips and photographs we’ve compiled on your behalf organized into an online library.
Say you have an upcoming event and need a new commercial, but don’t have the time to commit, or it’s the dead of winter and conditions for filming aren’t optimal. We can visit the library, pull content that fits your needs, including shots with green grass and leaves on the trees, and use it with other photos for your commercial. The library also is great for creating social content, with a range of relevant photos available when you need them. - Photos and videos: Of course you get the finished photos and video delivered digitally.
Where do we start?
After we get to know you, we will start with generating a script or outline and determining how the video will come together. For photography clients, we start with a shot list. In both instances, it helps to have references to past work and photos/videos that inspire you.
Where do you shoot/film and do you travel?
We’ve been everywhere, from the Texas Motor Speedway to the nation’s capital, swamps and marshlands, pharmaceutical labs, rural farms, state and national parks, and more. We’ve done work throughout the United States, but most of our work is in Franklin, Warren, Gasconade and St. Louis counties. The Midwest is our home, and we love the diversity we can offer in filming sites and locations that are second to none. We also work with out-of-state and international businesses who send us their products for shoots.
Do you offer just photography or just videography services?
Yes. We can provide corporate photography separately from videography, and vice versa. We are flexible to your needs.
Do you provide actors and/or voiceover artists?
We can provide a range of actors and voiceover talent: men, women and children, based on your needs. We have voiceover talent in several languages, or we can work with you to provide your own voiceover, instructing you in the soundbooth.
What does the timeline look like?
Timelines vary depending on your needs and where your business is in the process. Generally, projects take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, but we can nail down something more specific as we learn your goals.
Are you insured?
Yes. Please let us know if your business requires contractors to have insurance and we can supply you with the details.
I have a bunch of old company/home movies on VHS tapes. Can you transfer them to a digital format?
Absolutely! We would love to work with you to transfer historical videos and files into digital media you can continue to use or keep as part of your brand identity. Contact us using the form above or call to discuss this option further.
